Above costs are fixed price, VAT free and include all parts and consumables including waste disposal.

CALL OUT AND LABOUR RATE:
To fix a specific problem ASAP, these fees apply:
Fixed call out charge: £50 for first hour
Hourly labour rate:£50
Plus parts as required.

ANY WORK UNDERTAKEN AS PART OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE IS GUARANTEED FOR SIX MONTHS
What's checked, inspected and tested as part of the service?
Tow electric plug and lead inspected for damage and corrosion.
Road lights, vehicle charging and power supply to fridge checked for correct amp draw.
Leisure battery checked for charge condition, integrity / leakage, terminals inspected for corrosion and tightness.
Gas regulator and hose condition and age checked, then pressure test conducted to ensure there's no leaks.
All external locks lubricated and compartments checked for integrity and damage to components. Windows inspected for damage, operation of hinge bar and stays, window rubbers lubricated.
Body and roof inspected for cracks, general condition and potential water ingress points.
Water and drainage system checked for operation and leaks.
All 12 volt (leisure battery) powered compents and devices checked for operation, battery charge condition monitored under load.
All relevant appliances inspected and tested on gas for safety and correct operation.
Mains 230 volt cable, inlet, circuit breakers, RCD (main trip) and earth continuity bonding inspected and tested.
All relevant appliances and sockets checked on 230 volt for safety and correct operation.
Toilet and flush pump checked and inspected.
Thorough damp test performed with all findings reported.
Furniture, fixings, hinges, catches, blinds, rooflights etc all inspected.
All hitch parts checked, including stabiliser pads, hitch bolts, damper, breakaway cable etc and relevant components lubricated.
Running gear and chassis inpected, adjusted and lubricated as required e.g jockey wheel, handbrake, brake rod, stabiliser legs, spare wheel carrier.
Tyres checked for cracking, correct pressure, age, distortion and tread depth.
Wheels and brake drums removed, all brake components inspected and cleaned then drums replaced and new hub nuts fitted.
The brakes are then adjusted to the manufacturers settings.

MOTORHOME HABITATION SERVICES DO NOT INVOLVE INSPECTION AND TESTING OF THE BASE VEHICLE I.E THE CHASSIS BRAKES, ENGINE AND RUNNING GEAR BUT ARE OTHERWISE THE SAME

Examples of popular additonal work undertaken.
Solar panels: These charge your leisure battery when not connected to 230v enabling you to spend more time 'off grid' when theres no mains electric available. They take a couple of hours to fit.
Motor movers: These have become more and more popular in recent years and enable you to manoeuvre your caravan when not hitched to a vehicle. There are a growing number of different makes and models available over a broad price range. Single axle movers take roughly 2 hours to fit and twins about 4 - 5 hours. Please be aware that with twin axle vans it may be required to remove or move the spare wheel carrier in order to fit the mover onto the rear set of wheels.
Alde fluid change: If your van has an Alde boiler installed, the antifreeze solution in the central heating system should be changed every 2 - 5 years depending on the type of antifreeze currently in the system. There should be a service record card on the side of the boiler that details when the fluid was last changed or this information may be present in the vans general service history. It's important to change the fluid when it's out of date to prevent corrosion and stop the pipes from clogging up and damaging the boiler, these now cost over £3000 to replace!!
